The next thing I picked up was the Youthful Wear Concealer in Light + Light. It is a 3-in-1 product which is always nice for traveling. I always tend to overpack, so multi-tasking makeup saves me a bit of space. This includes a liquid concealer, stick concealer and a rollerball for blending. Both of the concealers seem to be the correct color for me and work really well. With the liquid, a little goes a long way and the stick concealer works great to cover some of the redness around my nose. The rollerball seems to be a bit gimicky and not really effective but for 75% off, I’m happy with it!
I also picked up the Mineral Wear Correcting Primer in Green. This primer is said to even out your skin tone and minimize any redness. I don’t have a huge problem with redness but the regular one was not in stock. I like the fact that it has a brush attached to it, although I would normally just put primer on with my hands. I just tried this and it leaves my skin feeling really nice! It seemed to blur some imperfections and calm a bit of redness. One thing I did not like was the scent, it smells really weird. I can’t be sure if that’s just how the product smells or if I got a really old one.
Lastly, I picked up the Organic Wear 100% Natural Origin Mascara in Ultra Black Organics. I love the packaging of this product! The metallic green leaf on the top is so fun! I honestly was not expecting much out of an organic and natural mascara but I was nicely surprised! It has a rubber bristle brush similar to Cover Girl Lash Blast, it separated my lashes really well and didn’t get clumpy at all! I got a lot of length from this but not a ton of volume, but I’m happy with the way my lashes looked. Definitely a great daytime mascara to wear to work or out shopping.
Overall, I would say the Rite-Aid Winter Beauty Clearance Sale was a complete success for me. When it comes to drugstore products, Physicians Formula is a brand I usually don’t buy because it’s a little pricier. This sale allowed me to pick up some new products to try without any guilt! I’m not sure when the sale goes to but if you’re at a Rite-Aid (or Walgreens/CVS, they have sales too!) anytime soon, be sure to keep an eye out for those yellow 75% off tags!
